MONSTER BASH
September 26 - 28 2014

The MONSTER BASH began in 2003 in Kansas as the original theme tournament.  This event began as a way for kids to have fun and enjoy the camaraderie of baseball and softball in a relaxed atmosphere.

Over the last ten years this event has grown from one lone event with 30+ teams to a month long of events at different levels and venues!
This year Woodside will be joing in the action to host the Monster Bash with the helo of our friends at MSP!

Dugout Decorating

Teams are invited to decorate their dugout throughout the weekend in a Halloween theme. There will be a judge that will evaluate your dugout on multiple criteria (including: originality use of props consistency of theme etc.) at one specified game. The only limitation should be your imagination. Teams will be notified which game they will have judged to allow them to go ALL OUT on that game.

Pumpkin Carving Contest

We will be supplying the pumpkins for this event.  All that your team needs to supply is the pumpkin carving devices and the creativity.  You will select and carve your pumpkin on Saturday and submit it to the tournament director's office by the end of the day.  The only rules are that the players on the team must carve the pumpkin and stencils are not allowed.  You will need to include your team's Name & Age/Division on the pumpkin.  The theme could or should encompass baseball and Halloween and tie in to your team's overall design theme of your dugout and costumes.

Spirit Contest

This contest involved everyone associated with your team. This will include involvement in the Dugout Decorating Costumes and overall Spirit. It will include Costumes by players coaches and fans. Also taken into consideration is the "atmosphere" created by teams and their members. Teams can wear costumes the entire weekend but all judging will take place during a specified game on Saturday.
