2015 Illinois State Championship Rules
1.) Tournament is sanctioned by and will be governed by USSSA rules.
2.) Coaches must check in prior to their first game.
All teams must turn in a copy of the official USSSA roster signed by parents of all players under 18 or players older then 18 and proof of insurance both of which are forwarded to the USSSA office. There are no exceptions; teams will forfeit games until roster is turned in. All teams must have copies of birth certificates to produce upon request.
3.) Four game guarantee weather permitting.
4.) Tournament play seeds will be determined by all pool games. ISTS system will be used for schedule updates.
5.) Any forfeited games shall be scored 7-0.
6.) 75 time limit for pool and bracket time limit will be 75min including Championship games.
7.) A 10 run lead after 3 innings 8 run lead after 4 innings and 6 run lead after 5 innings will be used.
8.) We will use the International Tie Breaker rule after time limit has expired or after 7 innings have been completed. Last completed at bat starts on 2nd base.
9.) No field warm up or batting practice on playing fields. No soft toss into the fences.
10.) Teams must be ready to play 30min prior to scheduled time.
11.) Tournament director reserves the right to alter the tournament format due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
12.) Coin toss will determine home team throughout entire tournament.
13.) Home team will be the official scorekeeper. Final scores should be verified with plate umpire upon games completion.
14.) Umpires will verify and report all game scores.
15.) Players and fans must throw away all garbage in their respective dugout and bleacher area.
16.) EastSide Centre is a Zero Tolerance Facility. This includes players coaches and spectators. Violators will be escorted out of the facility.
17.) Rain line 309-427-7784. “One Call Now” phone message system will be used to contact all coaches in case of inclement weather or updates on schedule. Please verify your contact number at check in.?

-DP/FLEX is allowed?
