| Team Managers/Players - The USSSA 14U State Tournament bracket play is now available on usssa.com web site. All 14U State Championship games will be played at the Harlem Sports Complex on Forest Hills Rd in Loves Park IL. Go to usssa.com - softball complexes - Illinois - Harlem Sports Complex Diamonds for directions. World Series berths to Hutchinson KS or Disney will be awarded at this tournament so be prepared to confirm with entry fee of $400. Pool play will be be 70 minutes with no new inning beginning after 60 minutes. Pool play can end in a tie. In Bracket Play no new inning will begin after 1 hour & 20 minutes. Internationl tie-breaker if game is tied. Championship game will play 7 innings no time limit. Mercy Rule: 10 runs after 3 innings/8 after 4innings/6 after 5 innings. Please have your team ready to play 30 minutes prior to scheduled game time. We will start early if running ahead of schedule. A coin flip will determine Home Team in Pool Play. Higher Seeded Team will be Home in Bracket play. Bracket seeds will be determined by points from Pool Play. 2 points for a win/1 point for a tie. Criteria for Seeding bracket play; #1 Best Record #2 Head to Head #3 Least amount of runs given up #4 Runs scored (with a maximum of 8 runs per game)#5 Flip of coin. Home team is the Official Scorekeeper and the Visitors must provide someone for the electronic scoreboard. Bracket play will begin immediately following Pool PLay on Saturday. Please bring your printed roster from ISTS will all required signatures. All teams must check in with Jason at the complex prior to first game. There is a full concession stand at Harlem and no food or coolers except water will be allowed into the park. This wil be a very hot weekend so be safe and keep hydrated. 4 World Series berths awarded. Awards include; All State Tournament Team Most Valuable Pitcher Best Defensive Player Most Valuable Player and Individual Championship awards. Note: The 173 & I90 interchange has opened up this week off of I90. Approx 2 miles north or the Riverside exit take 173 left to Forest Hills Rd. (Rockford Speedway). Make a left turn onto Forest Hills Rd and go approx 4 blocks on the right to Harlem Sports Complex. Skate Park is in front. Good Luck and have a great weekend!
