| Teams/Managers - The USSSA 18 & Over State Chamionship pool play is located on usssa.com web site. All Pool games will be played at Forest Hills Diamonds at 7742 Forest Hills Rd in Loves Park IL (Rockford). There is a mistake on the yahoo.com map for Forest Hills Diamonds location. Make a right turn onto Forest Hills Rd not a left as the map indicates. Be prepared to accept your 18 & Over World Series berth at the conclusion of the tournament with your $400 entry fee. In Pool Play & Bracket Play no new inning will begin after 1 hour & 20 minutes International tie breaker in bracket play. Bracket Play will be most like a double elimination except no "if" Championship Game will be played. If the undefeated team loses that game they would be Runners-up no 2nd game would be played.Championship game will play 7 innings no time limit. Mercy Rule: 10 runs after 3 innins/8 after 4/6 after 5 innings. Please have your team ready to play 30 minutes prior to scheduled game time. We will start early if running ahead of schedule. A coin flip will determine Home Team in Pool Play. Higher Seeded Team will be Home in Bracket Play. Bracket seeds will be determined by points from Pool Play. 2 points for a win/1 point for a tie. Criteria for seeding bracket play; #1 Best Record #2 Head to Head #3 Least amount of runs given up #4 Runs scored (a maximum of 8 runs per game) #5 Fip of coin. Home Team is the Officil Scorekeeper and the Visitors must provide someone for the electronic scoreboard. Bracket play will begin immediately following Pool Play on Saturday. Please bring your printed roster from ISTS with all required signatures. All teams must check in with Tournament Director at the complex prior to first game. There is a full concession stand and a bowling alley for cooling off and no food or coolers except water will be allowed into the park. No pets are allowed at Forest Hills Diamonds. Gate Admission for All Day - Adults $4 Senior Citizens (over 65)$3 - 18 & Under $2 and Children 12U - Free. Only water & power drinks will be allowed in coolers. No food may be brought into facility. All coolers will be checked. Please make sure your parents/fans are informed of the above. 4 game guarantee. 2 games of pool and double elimination type format. 2 umpires per game. 4 World Series berths awarded. Awards...All State Tournament Team Most Valuable Pitcher Best Defensive Player Most Valuable Player and individual awards to the Champions. This tournament qualifies teams for the USSSA 18 & Over World Series to be played in Rockford July 27-29 2007. |
