• This tournament is 3 X Points! There were 40 plus teams in it last year and we did use the waiting list. Don't wait to sign up! The first teams to register AND pay will get a spot.
• THERE COULD BE FRIDAY NIGHT GAMES FOR SOME AGE GROUPS!!!
• Entry fees and a copy of the team insurance must be received by March 10th, 2017 or your team will be removed and replaced by teams on the waiting list.
• USSSA rules will apply. All teams must provide proof of insurance and be USSSA sanctioned. Copies of birth certificates must be available for inspection. Team managers or representatives are to check in at least thirty minutes prior to the start of their first game. Teams must be ready to play 15 minutes prior to scheduled game time.
• All pool games will be seven innings or 65 minute -Finish the Inning-time limit and can end in a tie. Bracket Play will be 75 minute – Finish the Inning – ITB.
• Bracket Play will be seeded by pool game. This tournament will be a 2 Pool, Double Elimination Format
• Teams can bat their lineup in pool play and bat up to 11 in bracket play (9 plus 2 AP). Teams are allowed 12 players in their lineup but only 11 can bat. USSSA uses AP/Flex rules.
• Home team will be the official scorekeeper. Home team will be decided by coin toss.
• Teams must use the official USSSA supplied softball. Teams must have the USSSA “thumbprint” on all bats.
• Protest fee is $100 and is refundable only if the protest is upheld by the Tournament Director.
• Tournament directors reserve the right to re-schedule games or delay start times of games if conditions warrant. In the event of a weather delay the Tournament Director will post updates on www.kyusssa.com as well as send text/email to all users subscribed to the Tournament Update Line. To subscribe go to www.kyusssa.com or text USSSA KYILMO to 84483. Ultimately it is the responsibility of the Head Coach to stay in contact with the Tournament Director. All lightning delays will be a mandatory 30 minute delay for all lightning seen within a 10 mile radius.
• In case of a rain shortened tournament pool play games can be deemed official after 2 1/2 innings of play (with home team winning) or 45 minutes of elapsed game time. This policy will only be used through pool play.
• In the event that teams tie going into bracket play teams will be seeded in the bracket or awarded placement by the following:

1. Winning Percentage - Descending

2. Tied Teams (vs. each other) Winning Pct - Descending (Not valid if all teams have not played each other)

3. Average Points Allowed - Ascending

4. Average Points Differential with a maximum of (8) - Descending

5. Ranking Points - Descending

6. Date Team Entered USSSA Database

Once past a tie breaker do not return to previous

Ties in tournament games will be decided by using the international tie breaker (after time limit or in eighth inning).

• 16U and 18U may be combined into a HS division if less than 6 teams are registered in either of the age groups.
• REFUND POLICY: No refunds will be issued within 7 days of the tournament start date or after the tournament schedule is published (whichever comes first). In the event that a tournament is cancelled a full refund will be issued. In addition, if teams do not receive the game guarantee due to weather you will be refunded per the number of games played.
• There will be a Daily gate fee; $7 a day or $12 for the weekend for all spectators over the age of 12. Players and a maximum of 3 coaches will enter free of charge.
• Hotel recommendations will be posted on www.kyusssa.com
• Teams must send payment, proof of insurance, and a maximum of 3 coaches names (for admission) to the below address no later than the registration deadline (March 10th) as annotated above. If payment is not received by registration deadline teams must pay online with credit card in order to guarantee a spot in tournament. An additional service fee is charged for all online payments.
