| This event was a huge success in 2012.All players need to bring an unwrapped new $10 or up gift for a boy or girl that will be handed out at the Shiners Hospital for Children in Galveston.This is a 3 game guarantee tournament.Additional donations for the Shriners will also be accepted at the event.www.houstonbaseballtournaments.com.First of all we would like to thank all teams for playing in this event that will reach out and put smiles on kids faces that have been or are going through alot of challenges.Thank you to your players for donating to help others.Please remember to have all players bring a $10 and up unwrapped toy for either a boy or girl to the tournament.We will have a canopy set up near the concession stand in the front pinwheel of fields (Fields 1-5).All teams will check in and can turn in toys there.All 13 and 14 year old teams playing in the back of the park on field 6 and 7 will need to come to check in up front also.This will become an annual event.Carlos Garza Sportsplex is located at 3300 Magnolia St Texas City TX 77590.Field 6 has a portable mound so no steel cleats may be worn by pitchers please.There will be a full service concession stand open so no outside food or coolers allowed please.You may bring water for the dugouts.Any weather related information may be found at www.houstonbaseballtournaments.com during the weekend.Once again thank you. |
