QUALIFICATIONS: The 2016 Georgia USSSA Baseball Major NIT Series State Championship is open to all teams registered with USSSA for the 2016 season. Teams that have played in five (5) or more Major NIT Series Events will play for FREE in the Championship. Teams MUST have an Official Online Roster in the USSSA.com system to participate.
FORMAT (POOL PLAY & DOUBLE ELIMINATION): Teams will be seeded by USSSA Points for one (1) Pool Play game. After Pool Play teams will be reseeded into a Double Elimination Championship Bracket. This format guarantees each team 3 games (weather permitting).
START TIMES: Please be advised ALL Pool Play WILL be played on Friday. This means EVERY team should be prepared to play on Friday. Games may begin as early as 12:00 PM (depending on the quantity of teams entered). Please plan accordingly.
WORLD SERIES BERTHS: Teams scheduled to or planning to play in any USSSA and / or Global Sports Baseball World Series MUST validate their berth by participating in a USSSA State Championship...NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
