DESCRIPTION
The Slugger Summer Nationals is a new event for the 2022 season and is part of the brand new "Flashin' The Leather Series" for 9-12u. The Slugger Summer Nationals will be the final event of the 2022 season for "Flashin' The Leather Series". The Flashin' The Leather Series is a brand new tournament series by JP Sports hosted exclusively at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex (LSSC). For the "Flashin' The Leather Series" the tournament champions will receive a Wilson A2000 Baseball glove (Please see the JP Sports Flashin' The Leather page on our website for all the details).
This national event is the Slugger Summer Nationals and is a USSSA sanctioned event. We expect this event to sell out quickly, as it will have the best awards package in youth baseball. The Slugger Summer Nationals will play 3 pool play games, followed by bracket play. This event is a 5 game guarantee and will kick-off Wednesday, July 13th. Don't miss the epic skills competitions and opening ceremonies, nobody does these events like JP Sports! Great give-a-ways, DJ, and tons of family fun!
Wednesday, July 13: Team Check-in, Coaches Meetings, Team Mom Meeting, Pin Trading, Skills Competitions and Opening Ceremonies.
Thursday, July 14: Pool Play
Friday, July 15: Pool Play
Saturday, July 16: Bracket play
Sunday, July 17: Conclusion of Bracket Play
Louisville Slugger Sports Complex:
With a total of 12 turf diamonds: 10 full synthetic turf fields with lights outdoors and 2 full synthetic turf fields in the dome. 2 of the outdoor fields are stadium style, with the main stadium field featuring a jumbotron scrore/video board.
This tournament will be governed by USSSA Rules and Rostering, along with JP Sports.
You MUST Register through USSSA AND JP Sports .
