This will be our Halloween tournament. There will be a costume contest on Saturday, for a team to qualify for prizes, all players and at least one coach must dress in costume. Prize for winner in each division. We will also have a dugout decorating contest. Dugouts can be decorated on Friday evening of early Saturday morning. Dugouts are limited, so we will take entries on a first call basis. I will announce through email when you can claim your dugout. There will also be a trick or treat exchange at the hand shake after each game, so bring some candy!

This fall we are going to run the 10c division as a modified pitch tournament. How it works, the kid pitcher will pitch as normal until a 4th ball is thrown, at this point a coach from the offensive team will come pitch to the batter. The number of coach pitches will be determined by the number of strikes thrown by the kid pitcher before ball 4 was thrown. 0 strikes = 4 pitches, 1 strike = 3 pitches, 2 strikes = 2 pitches. If at any point the batters count gets to 3 strikes, batter is out. If the last coach pitch isn't swung at or is a swing and miss, batter out. Last coach pitch fouled off, at bat continues. Stealing is allowed during kid pitch, but no stealing during coach pitch. One stolen base per pitch. No stealing home unless a pick off attempt is made at a runner already on 3rd base. On a batted ball, runners can advance until thrown out or the play is stopped with the ball in the circle or the umpires time out. Games will be 65 min, drop dead in pool play, finish the inning in bracket. 6 run limit per half inning. Roster batting is required.
