Thanks so much for participating in the 2009 11U Illinois State Championship. Congratulations to Jeff Collins' Wasco Diamonds for their State Championship and to Sherri Wendt's St. Charles Comets as State Runner-up. All State Tournament awards are listed and the recipient of the Bob "Pappy" Papich Memorial Sportsmanship Award is Quad City Firebirds '97 from East Moline. Congratulations to Ron Stout and his team. Good Luck to all teams advancing to World Series/National Tournaments. Also the Labor Dayz Weekend qualifier for the 2010 World Series tournaments will be held on Sept 5-6 in Rockford. All age/class divisions. On the Waterfront is being held on the banks of the Rock River in downtown Rockford. A summers end festival with carnival rides stages with all kinds of bands and lots of food booths. Hope you can come and join the fun!
